Breaking News:

Oklahoma City Thunder has acquired Gordon Hayward from the Charlotte Hornets as part of a three-team trade. The Thunder also traded George Hill to the Philadelphia 76ers and received cash from the Atlanta Hawks in the deal.

The 32-year-old Hayward is a four-time All-Star and has averaged 16.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game over the course of his career. He is expected to provide a significant boost to the Thunder's offense, which ranked 22nd in the league last season.

In exchange for Hayward, the Hornets received Kelly Oubre Jr. and a first-round pick. The 76ers acquired Jalen McDaniels in the deal.

The trade is the latest in a busy offseason for the Thunder, who have also acquired Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, and Ousmane Dieng in recent weeks. The team is expected to be competitive in the Western Conference this season, with a young and talented roster led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
