Celtics Defeat Mavericks in Game 1, Brown Calls for Support in Game 2

Boston Celtics welcomed Kyrie Irving back to TD Garden with a 107-89 rout in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday night.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 30 points, while Jaylen Brown added 24 points and Robert Williams III had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Luka Dončić led the Mavericks with 33 points, while Spencer Dinwiddie added 21 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. had 16 points.
Brown Calls on Celtics Nation for Game 2
After the game, Brown spoke to the media and called on Celtics Nation to support the team in Game 2.
"We need you guys more than ever in Game 2," Brown said. "We need your energy, your passion, and your support. We know it's going to be a tough game, but we're ready for the challenge."
The Celtics will host the Mavericks in Game 2 on Sunday night.
